Summary
To celebrate Asymptote’s 2nd anniversary, editor-in-chief Lee Yew Leong invited translators Steve Bradbury and Darryl Sterk to read their work and discuss their experiences translating two of the most acclaimed contemporary Taiwanese writers: Hsia Yü and Wu Mingyi. Their animated discussion focused mainly on the challenges facing translators of Taiwanese literature.
