Summary

In collaboration with NYU Shanghai, Asymptote made its first-ever appearance in Shanghai on a rainy Saturday afternoon, at Anne-Cecile Noique Art gallery. Participating at the event were Asymptote contributors Eleanor Goodman, who read her translations of Chinese poets Li Li, Sun Wenbo, and Wang Xiaoni and Eun Joo Kim, who read her translations of the Korean poet Kim Ki-taek. A mixture of NYU Shanghai staff and students, Asymptote followers, Shanghai poets and writers attended the celebration.
